How I Approach Working Together
The session is dedicated solely to you. The time is to use as you need. You deserve a supportive space to figure things out.
You know yourself and your life best.
If you need an empathetic ear and someone to give you the space, encouragement, and guidance to unpack and organize your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, you have come to the right place. You have a voice, and I will encourage you to use it. Our sessions are completely collaborative and you have the final decision on what we prioritize during that time. Our work is flexible, if a discussion or topic isn’t resonating with you, then we will change paths. If something comes up during the week and we need to dedicate a session to it, instead of following our general plan, we will. We will have discussions to try to connect insights, emotions, core beliefs and patterns. We will confront some uncomfortable events, ideas, truths, and beliefs. But we will do it together and when you are ready. If a topic becomes too uncomfortable, we can stop and save it for another day. We will slowly unpick the obstacles you struggle with and work together to understand them, where they might have originated from, how they truly effect you and what steps we can take to manage them. We will strengthen the qualities you already possess and learn how to utilize them more in order to build a happier life.

You could be struggling with anxiety or depression.
Anxiety and depression are two of the most common mental health conditions that people suffer from. Anxiety and depression are very intrusive and they can feel like a heavy dark presence within us. They can be especially frustrating when you have no “real” reason to be suffering, and so you cannot find the words to explain what you are going through or why. They can trick you into believing that there is something deeply wrong with you, that you are alone. That the emotions, fears, and worries you live with are ‘wrong’ and no one would understand.
I can listen and understand where you are coming from.
You might be going through a BIG life change (or considering one).
A breakup, divorce, a move, graduating university…and you are not adjusting as well as you would like. You feel lost in the transition and overwhelmed. These are very intense periods in life and it is hard to know what the right thing to do is when you are dealing with so many conflicting thoughts and emotions.
Maybe you just feel stuck or unfulfilled in an aspect of your life.
Your relationship or job or in friendships? You know there is something missing. You feel repressed or trapped. You know something needs to change but have no idea what or where to start. You don’t want to struggle through everyday feeling as though you aren’t enough or this life isn’t enough. You want something more meaningful. You want a happy and content life.
Who am I?
I create supportive space for you to do “the work.”
My focus will be on helping you live a meaningful life based on your personal beliefs, values and goals.
I want to help you to become aware of what is truly important to you and help you reorganize your thinking, emotions, and/or behaviors so that you incorporate more of what makes you happy and less of what doesn’t.
