Time Commitment
Individual counseling sessions are approximately 55 minutes in length and are typically most effective when attended on a weekly basis, particularly at the beginning of treatment. The overall length of counseling varies from person to person and depends on your goals, the concerns you would like to address, and the pace at which you are comfortable working.
Fees
Private Pay Fee: $165 per session
Payment is due at the time of service and can be made securely online.
Insurance
I am currently in-network with:
• Aetna
• Cigna
• Optum
• United Healthcare
• Oxford Health
If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to utilize out-of-network benefits. Upon request, I can provide a superbill (itemized receipt) for you to submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is determined entirely by your insurance provider, and I cannot guarantee coverage or payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee.
This policy allows me to offer the appointment time to clients who may be waiting for availability.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services.
Location & International Availability
I primarily provide online counseling services to adults located in Connecticut and Florida. Sessions are conducted virtually through a secure telehealth platform, allowing you to access counseling from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
I also work with expats and individuals living internationally. As a holder of a Maltese Counseling Warrant, I am able to provide counseling services in Malta and may be able to work with clients located in other countries, depending on local regulations and licensing requirements.
